If you dream of freedom on two wheels, but think that a 125cc is too small to go on an adventure, think again! Admittedly, we don't have the power of a big bike, nor storage cases the size of wardrobes, but our little beasts know just how to get us where we want to go. Here's how it all started.
125cc training: the start of our adventure
It all started in April 2023. We decided to take our 125cc training so that we could finally experience the joys of motorcycling. After a few hours of practical and theoretical lessons, we were ready to take the plunge. As soon as the course was over, we thought it was time to choose our riding companions. And that's when the adventure really began.

For my part, I fell for a Zontes Scrambler 125 X. It wasn't a random choice. Its retro look with a modern twist won me over straight away. The riding position is perfect for my size, and its engine, despite being a simple 125, is more than enough to have fun on the winding roads of the campaigns mountains. With its large 20-litre fuel tank, I'm always ready for an impromptu trip.
Simon and his Mash Black Seven 2017
Simon, for his part, has opted for a Mash Black Seven 2017. This model, with its café racer styling, is a real gem for vintage enthusiasts. It may not have blistering acceleration, but its charm and handling more than make up for it. With its wide tyres and low seat, it's superbly stable and comfortable for long rides. You don't need to go fast to enjoy the scenery when you're so comfortable.
Travelling light: a way of life
With our 125cc bikes, we're learning to travel light. There's no question of taking our entire wardrobe or a ton of equipment with us. We had to get organised and learn to make the most of every cubic centimetre of storage space. I have to admit that this was quite complicated for me as I like to have a certain number of things... 'just in case'! 🤪
Travelling with the bare minimum is also a way of refocusing on the essentials and making the most of every moment spent on the road.
Yes, we may be riding 125cc bikes, but it's not the size that counts, it's the adventure! These little bikes have allowed us to (re)discover some incredible landscapes, to experience some unforgettable moments, and above all, to share it all together.
Between rides and roadtrips, we're making the most of the southern region (for the time being) as well as our bikes 🏍️😍
