We're Audrey and Simon, and HAGS is simply a mix of our initials! We're both web developers (in other words, we create websites) and we live in the Hautes-Alpes in the heights of the Embrunais region ❣️
After 3 years of renovation, all I wanted to do was move! Except that 3 years of renovation also meant 3 years of constraints. And I didn't want any more constraints! And at the same time, buying a house + renovating is the ultimate bank account drain. 😅 So to get round that and enjoy myself at the same time, I pitched Simon the idea of roadtrips... on a motorbike and camping!
We had to equip ourselves (we bought the bikes in 2023) for camping, with the big constraint of space: no car boot. Here, we had to opt for small-weight, small-volume equipment!
Optimisation is the key word!
By 2025, we've moved to roof tent and in 2026, transition to converted van !
