As for the Serre-Ponçon damIt is one of the largest man-made dams in Europe. It holds back the waters of the Durance to form the magnificent Serre-Ponçon lake, surrounded by mountains. The dam is a symbol of the region, and its surroundings offer breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains, perfect for a photo break.
