Every year in mid-August, Embrun<\/strong> lives to the rhythm of\u2019Embrunman<\/strong>. A legendary, impressive and unmissable event... and synonymous with blocked roads, complicated traffic and a valley completely saturated from dawn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rather than stay at home and wait for the dust to settle, we chose another option: to leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Without going far. Without crossing France. Just by changing valleys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leave the Durance valley and head for the Champsaur<\/strong>, It's already a change of scenery. The scenery changes in just a few kilometres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim of this three-day weekend in the Champsaur <\/strong>was simple: avoid the crowds, enjoy the mountains in the middle of August and try out once again the freedom offered by a roof-tent. Sleep as close as possible to the start of a hike, set off at dawn, live to the rhythm of the sun... and rediscover that sometimes all you need to do is change valley to feel like you're somewhere else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
